Diabetics at Whataburger

Diabetics need to be a bit cautious while dining at Whataburger. Almost every burger is rich in sodium content and it is highly recommended to keep your burger cravings in control while dining at Whataburger. However, you can always satisfy your cravings for a burger by choosing Whataburger Jr. or other non-burger items from the menu.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for Diabetics:

A diabetic should resist from ordering any extra meat-based burger such as Double Meat Whataburger or Triple Meat Whataburger to limit the sodium intake and calories. Most burgers except the Whataburger Jr. are high in sodium and hence should be avoided.

If you are a diabetic, you should also avoid Honey BBQ Chicken Strip Sandwich and Whataburger Patty Melt at Whataburger. Chicken Fajita Taco is also off-limits for diabetics. High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for High Cholesterol

Cut down on your meat intake to control your high cholesterol. You must skip Double Meat Whataburger and Triple Meat Whataburger at all costs. A shimmering oasis of burgers and fries after a vast desert of food appeared before us on the road. "BURGERVILLE!" she cried out in a voice that was simultaneously deliriously happy and near exhaustion. We'd started the morning at Fort Stevens State Park up near Astoria with the notion that we'd "pick something up" for breakfast along the way. Several hours, 100 mile or more and many closed cafes later, our stomachs and patience were running on extreme empty. We passed burg upon crossroads of towns here and there, desperately hoping that the next inhabited place would have something, open, not too sketchy, and not overgrown with blackberries. Each widening of the road we slowed for, showed no more opportunity for something (ANYTHING) to eat to satiate the rumblings and faintness to which we were no more accustomed to than when they started, hours before. And then, deus ex machina, Burgerville. I was so hungry, I don't even remember what we ate, but it might as well been mana from heaven.

OK - the spread is sooo goood. Our kids ship it to us every couple of months and that makes me Very happy :). When we do make it up there they have the best veggie burgers! Oh and the onion rings are the best I've ever eaten!

I'm not sure where the good reviews are coming from. Locals without many other choices, maybe? We stopped here for dinner as we passed through town. I ordered the Pepper Bacon Burger. It was barely warm when it was brought out to me. The bacon is tough and lacks the pepper flavor I chose it for. The burger patty is very thin (like thinner than a value menu burger), extreme dry and has no flavor. The fries were good though. They were cooked in fresh oil and served steaming hot. Unfortunately, I wasn't here for the fries.

Fueled up my belly here with a Smoked Salmon Hazelnut Salad for breakfast. Yep, a salad for breakfast and not a bad one either -- this is someone who doesn't even like smoked salmon. Trusting my friend's recommendation, I followed her lead and ordered the same salad as she did. I ordered the half-size portion of the salad, though whole sizes are available. The smoked salmon and hazelnut combo was surprisingly tasty with the balsamic dressing (there's also a strawberry vinaigrette option). I normally don't expect the best food and service from roadside fast food joints, but this place took me by surprise. Service is wonderful, and the staff is friendly and cheerful. Next time around, I'll have to try an actual burger and maybe some of those fried asparagus spears, if they're still available.

If it weren't for the seasonally-available Walla Walla sweet onion rings that are the size of your head, this place would be lucky to get one star. The burgers are nearly devoid of flavor. I am not a big fan of Thousand Island dressing, and so I am also not a big fan of their "secret sauce." And the meat is seriously wafer thin. If you like lettuce and unmelted cheese, this is your place. The staff is consistently friendly, which is a plus.

A business that provides a great product, employs sustainable business practices, purchases from local suppliers, and doesn't push schlock tie-ins from cheesy big-budget movies to kids - how could you not love them? More: bit.ly/qpnWy

I've been there three times now since I moved to St. Helens 15 months ago. They have only screwed up my order 2 of the 3 visits. I hate pickles, so on my last visit I told them no pickle, I got pickles. I hadn't been there is at least 7 months. I saw they had burgers with sautéed onions and onion ring on special. I ordered the burger and a large onion ring. I got home and opened the bag to find the burger and a small bag of fries. I at it. figuring that there had to be a good price difference between the fries and the onion rings, I went back. After explaining two or three times, I got the price of the onion rings back. I told the manager that I've had 2 out of 3 orders screwed up and he said, "Well" and shook his head. They are going to stay at 1 right order out of 3 orders.

Locally sourced food, Eco- friendly, this is a PNW business. Seasonal shakes are offered, chocolate hazelnut and pumpkin are my favorite. Good thick fries, but not crisp on the outside, or creamy in the middle. The Tillamook cheeseburger has crisp lettuce, juicy tomato, a so-so meat patty and boring sesame bun. Three of these baskets with a soda-$24. It's fast food. The orders are always correct and the hot food is served hot. What more do you expect?

Just got done eating the Spicy Bacon Chicken deluxe burger and an order of the Rosemary fries with garlic aioli on the side. Oh how I wish this place was closer to where I live. The service was fast, and the food was delicious. I may end up eating here for the next 3 days instead of going elsewhere. I LOVED it!

You know I love Burgerville almost as much as In and Out Burger. You know what I love our local Burgerville more then in and out burger. If I want to treat myself I will order a turkey burger. I know that sounds weird but their turkey burgers are incredibly flavorful. Now I like the Tillamook cheeseburger just like the next guy & I love their french fries and oh wow there are Walla Walla onion rings are to die for! Their shakes are great especially the seasonal ones. And there's one specialty shake called a mocha perk I think that is fabulous. Give them a try!

The food has always been good here but today I saw something new on the menu that I wanted to try. Golden Waffle Cut Fries. Boy was I disappointed. What I got was mashed potatoes formed like waffle fries then coated with something. Not what I was expecting from a Burger joint that is at the high end of the price range for burger joints.

I love Burgerville! I love that they get their food from local sources and meat from environmentally sustainable places. I love that the employees are treated better than other fast food restaurants. I love that they have specials based on what's in season. Mind you I have encounter a dip shit employee from time to time and some overly greasy burgers, but it's rare. 98% of the time the food is fresh and yummy and the employees are kind and helpful. Keep up the good work Burgerville!

Honestly, it's just okay. I love that they use some locally sourced food, but the hamburger meat is no better than McDonalds. $10 for a burger, soda and fries is not worth it.

Five stars. May be the best Burgerville around. When we come to town this is the first restaurant we go to. And the last. If you've never been here before, get a Tillamook Cheeseburger basket and one of their unique shakes. Pros: Mouth watering burgers. Second only to In-N-Out. Delicious shakes. Jukebox plays selections for free. Friendly staff. They even bring the food to your table. Cons: Three hours away from home.

Most burger places have been up for awhile, Burgerville since 1960. I think burgerville is such a great burger place becuase they keep their great recipes from way back. You go in and order a bacon colossal burger. Your going to get a really great burger. One of the best fast food burger joints around.

I love having a Burgerville so close to home. If I am craving a tasty burger slathered in the delicious sauce or the seasonal shakes it is hard to steer my car clear of it on my way to work.
